1900 - 1999

1919 - 14th. December, War Memorial Institute opened.

1928 - New council houses built (Beechwood Terrace)

1936 - High Mill purchased by Joseph Ross, tenant at Low Mill.

1939 -  The old chapel in the south-east corner of the hall was abandoned in                         favour of a new chapel constructed in an outbuilding.

1949 - New council estate built (Kingwood)

1968 - High Mill's working gear sold to George Leatt for his industrial and folk                   museum at High Corn Mill, Skipton.

1973 - New Institute built.

1974 - Weslyan Chapel demolished.
